Creating a successful Circle on Career Circle begins with clarity of purpose. Your community should serve a distinct professional identity, skill set, or goal.
Choosing Your Join Policy
Career Circle offers three flexible access tiers:
- Open (Public): Anyone can join instantly without waiting for approval. Ideal for broad industry networking, open learning communities, and public discussions.
- Approval Required (Restricted): Prospective members submit a join request. As owner or manager, you review member profiles before granting access. Recommended for specialized study groups, executive circles, and curated peer reviews.
- Invite Only (Private): Hidden from public discovery feeds. Members enter strictly via direct invite links. Best for internal team coordination, private mentorship, and confidential projects.
Setting Up Your Slug & Discovery Tags
Your Circle slug forms your permanent URL (careercircle/circles/[slug]). Keep it clean, lower-case, and hyphenated. Map your Circle to relevant topic tags so the discovery engine routes interested members directly to your group.
