Career Circle is a space for career growth, mentorship, and opportunity. We expect all members to engage with respect. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, and personal attacks are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension.
Constructive debate is welcome, but hostility is not. Treat every interaction as if you were in a professional workplace.
Our goal is to maintain a "high signal" feed. Please avoid posting spam, repetitive content, or uncontextualized self-promotion. If you are sharing a project, article, or job, include context on why it matters to the community.
Blatant engagement baiting (e.g., "comment 'yes' for the link") degrades the quality of the network and may be removed by moderators.
A trusted network requires real identities and honest representation. We explicitly prohibit impersonation of individuals or organizations, the use of fraudulent credentials, and misrepresentation of your professional experience.
Similarly, companies must post genuine opportunities. Fraudulent job posts—whether for data harvesting, artificial engagement, or testing the market—are strictly banned. All posted roles must represent actively hiring positions.
Trust is paramount. Any content that is sponsored, promoted, or created on behalf of an organization must be clearly labeled. Organizations must use the approved tags (e.g., Sponsored, Promoted Job) when pushing campaigns to the feed or hosting sponsored Signal events.
Undisclosed paid endorsements by individual users violate these guidelines and FTC regulations.
If you see something that violates these guidelines, use the reporting tools available on every post, comment, and profile. Our moderation team reviews reports promptly to ensure the safety of the network.
During the Alpha phase, moderation actions (such as post removal or account bans) are final, though we are actively developing an appeals process for the full release.
